Helen Blair

Helen has more than 30 years teaching and riding experience and holds the BHSAI certificate and a Diploma in Sports Psychology. She is passionate about the correct and classical training of horse and rider and employs only those instructors who echo her values.

She prides herself on engaging a wide variety of styles and disciplines in her team of instructors to ensure that the needs of her horses and her clients are well catered for.

She has built the business over the last three decades to its current size, now encompassing the Riding School, Haflinger Stud, Livery Yard (including Backing, Breaking and Schooling), Training Centre for BHS and NVQ qualifications and Competition Yard, with teams and individuals regularly taking part in Endurance, Dressage, Show-Jumping, Eventing, Showing, Side-Saddle and Hunting.

She has competed herself in Endurance, Dressage and Showing to County level. Helen now runs the office and manages a team of approximately 20 people and over 50 horses.
